Small Town Street Photography: Silverton, Oregon #6

Waiting to eat…

Having just finished eating at Gather Restaurant in Silverton, Oregon, I had gone to put some money in the old school parking meter and walked back towards the restaurant when this moment presented itself. The door frames this child perfectly and when he looked right at me, I knew we had momentarily connected and I fired off a handful of frames, with this one being the decisive moment for me.

For me this image as a black and white works really well and draws the viewer to the subject without the distraction of color.
